Amazon.com Review The book that started the phenomenon is now available in a deluxe collector's edition! Featuring a ribbon bookmark, cloth cover, ragged edges, new chapter opener designs, and a beautiful protective slipcase, this edition is perfect for fans and collectors alike.
Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
Product Description About three things I was absolutely positive: First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him–and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be–that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
“I’D NEVER GIVEN MUCH THOUGHT TO HOW I WOULD DIE– I’d had reason enough in the last few months –but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. . . . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.” When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret. What Bella doesn’t realize is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And, it might be too late to turn back. . . . Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.

Apalling that this is a bestseller January 9, 2009 Samantha Barbaro I used to read a lot of Anne Rice novels, so, although skeptical, I picked this up. If you are looking for a cool vampire novel with interesting, developed characters and lots of action, then this is not it. If you are looking for a poorly written and boring romance novel with no sex, no actual believable romance and a few vampires thrown into it, then read this book. There's not a lot I can say that the other 1-star reviewers haven't already said. The language is boring and repetitive. The characters are annoying, flat at best and hardly compelling. The author kind of just focuses on stating obsessively how attractive Edward is. The plot is unoriginal and predictable. It made me very sorry to see that this book was a bestseller, as most romance novels top it in entertainment value. Suggestions for making this read exciting if you have already purchased the book: drink every time you see the word "gaze," "adonis," or "serapic" (Don't worry, there are tons of other words you can choose from that get used ad nauseam).
OH YEAH!!! January 9, 2009 Marvella Webster Okay, do i have to say it or can we just all agree that Twilight is a faboulous book. So what if nothing happened?! After all the nothing that draws you into the book, its SO FANTASTIC!! The chase, the sneaking and most of all the fight!!! so much fun!!! all in all i am a HUGE fan of the book twilight and if u had not read it READ IT NOW!! WHY R U STILL READING THIS!!!?? pick up Twilight!
book review: twilight January 9, 2009 Kathleen Kelley I bought the twilight book series for myself for Christmas. I have not been disappointed. I just finished the first book in the series and I found it to be a real page turner. I highly recommend this book for anyone from age 14 and up.
twilight is awsome! January 9, 2009 Jennifer Abbott i love it! it is thrilling and would be great for anyone who would want to read a love story
Good but not my favorite January 9, 2009 John Westlund (Minnesota) I really did love Twilight the first time I read it and then the movie came out... the movie definatley dissapointed me. But it was quite good until i read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn and Eclipse were amazing and I really encourage readers that werent too pleased with Twilight to keep reading and get through New Moon because us Twilight saga fans believe that New Moon was the worst. BUT you MUST read Twilight anyways because many many people come back to haunt Bella and Edward (IF she lives after James! Well I really dont want to wreck the books for you) and you will also learn that Vampires are not the only mythical create that live in Forks by the way. So if you make it through Twilight and New Moon then you will hit the (In my opionion) BEST books ever! So I hope you choose to read the Twilight books you won't be sorry! Thank you for reading my review! Team Emmett!!!!
