Disappointed in cover mainly December 16, 2008 Liz Ellerbe (Fresno, CA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I returned this cookbook to Amazon because of the glaring cover - no delicious meal inspiring me to cook, but the egotistical picture of the author. How vainglorious and how illogical. A cover with cleavage does not conjure up delicious meals. (Check out "The All New Ultimate Southern Living Cookbook.") The author's photo on any book looks conceited, but on a cookbook - stupid!!! Seeing the picture on Amazon wasn't the same as seeing it up close. Never again will I make that mistake. Plus, her recipes (which I did NOT try) look like variations on a theme. I don't need themes, I need an index of 100 or so different types of recipes.
good cookbook December 6, 2008 dancin moma (PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cook book is pretty good, It has a few recipes that I liked and used. Some of her other books are much better but i would recommend this to someone.
Lots of fun recipes December 3, 2008 J. Palsmeier (Louisville, Ky. USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm finding this cookbook useful to kickstart me in a new direction and out of my cooking rut. I'm excited about trying ingredients I never have cooked with, and love all the soup and burger ideas. Everything I've tried so far has tasted good!
365 what September 7, 2008 JTKs MOM 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this book because everyone kept telling me how great Rachel Ray is. There were 365 recipes. It did appear they would be fairly quick to make. The problem was most of them were things my husband would never eat and several of them had ingredients we don't have nor could we find them when we asked in our local store. It may be good for someone else but for our meat and potato family it wasn't a hit.
Great cookbook August 6, 2008 T. Henderson 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have picky kids and with a new baby it's easy to find meals that are planned out so easily and quick. Great book!!
