| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Dr. Kevin Leman, author of the bestselling The New Birth Order Book, believes that "childhood memories are even more reliable than birth order as an indicator of 'why you are the way you are.'" For more than twenty years, he and coauthor Randy Carlson successfully used childhood memory therapy in their private counseling practices. Their own lives, celebrities' lives, and case studies serve as examples to prove the staying power of subconsciously selected recollections. With their signature humor and warmth, Leman and Carlson take readers step by step down memory lane with techniques for retrieving memories and controlling the effect of those memories. Leman and Carlson not only show why memories mean so much, but more importantly how to cut them down to size and rewrite your past in order to make the most of your future.

I was in the process of reading this eye opening book when my house burned down, my husband of 24 years left me and my life started over. It is an easy read and even lighlty humorous. We are all unfinished grain, as in wood, to be shaped into whatever we choose. Thank you for writing it.
