    This volume, and the first, are very detailed discussions of the British operations in Africa in the 19th century. Each campaign discussion contains details on organization of the forces involved. The maps are perfect for wargame scenerios. This work was written by a French soldier using entirely sources, not French or other works. It was originally pulbished in 1896.
