While Cassie has taken some time off, truth be told she is getting ready to once again come back strong. This single is a reminder of just how great she can sing about many issues people go through as well as deliver vocally very softly and sensual.
The first song, "Long Way 2 Go" [Album Version] is an excellent song filled with much attitude filled lyrics as well as singing. The beats are up-tempo with some mid R&B blended nicely. The style is great for those who like to make women feel respected and treated right vs. being taken for granted or as a one night stand. Cassie's vocals are listener friendly and has a nice breathy mesh with the aura creating infectious, catchy, addictive grooves enough to sing along or feel like dancing or ready to party or feel uplifted.
The second song is "When Your Body Is Talkin" [Non-Album Track] and has a slow tempo R&B style. It is a nice song to listen to for when the night is romantic, laid back, or just fantasy filled. If you want to get relaxed or just in the mood to get cozy this song is definitely for that.
While the first song is quite catchy and radio friendly, the second also adds a nice compliment in bringing the unwinding and getting loose vibe high. The R&B blends of fast, mid, and slow make it a versatile listening experience very good for the days of cleaning, kicking back, or hanging with a friend.
