Album Description This greatest-hits collection spans the short career of one of pop-punk's most celebrated outfits, blink-182. The album features tracks from their 1994 debut Buddha through to the more experimental final album, 2003's blink-182. The album serves as a perfect introduction into the band's hook-driven pop-punk which has always involved a large dose of frat-boy toilet humor.

Blink is amazing January 23, 2010 njrace77 (New Jersey) Everything is amazing.. guitar overlays, vocals, drums. Exceptional greatest hits album. Song structure, melodies, and lyrics are all phenomenal. I can hear Blink's influences on new CDs I have like The Summer Project's new EP (if you don't know them, look it up). This album is a 5/5. I'm so glad they're back together, too!
Nobody Likes You When You're 23, But Grow Up & We'll Find A New-Found Love For You July 21, 2009 Flap Jackson (State Road, NC) One of the most influential groups of the 00s, Blink-182 has had their share of haters and criticisms, but they've come back strong every time. This generically titled "Greatest Hits" is pretty standard by greatest hits albums, showcasing most of the singles, maybe a few rarities, but the most distinguishing feature is the exact chronology of the album. As you trek through you see their progression musically, vocally, and even in maturity.
Highlights Include:
Carousel
What's My Age Again?
Adam's Song
The Rock Show
First Date
Another Girl Another Planet
At the start of the album the band has a distinctive punk sound and as they move on the sound becomes more streamlined and mainstreamed, which culminates in 'Enema,' and branches off in subsequent records. Sure, some of the songs and choices are questionable, but thus is the history of the band. One thing you can't deny, their hits were pretty darn good/fun.
The collection is basically a showcase of the band before their breakup and subsequent hiatus. However, since they're back together, I would hold off on the album for fear of them releasing a better version with more rarities, or even an edition which included a DVD. Not to mention the fact that something just seems to be missing from the album. The future of this influential band is now wide-open, and this CD is a reminder where they've been. What's down the line? Nobody really knows...
Great CD! October 31, 2008 Jose O. Calderon (South Florida) Blink 182 is just fun high energy music and these are their greatest hits. What's not to like? It's a great CD.
Blink 182 May 7, 2007 Holly (Somewhere Over the Rainbow) Great album. They really should have included Give Me One Good Reason, though. Thats probably their best song. Adam's Song is the best song on this album definetly. I wish they were still together.

this band got me into music when i was just a lad. people have to stop saying "blink isnt 'punk rock'" yeah yeah, get over it.... i know they aren't punk and we ALL know they aren't punk. punk as some of of you know is screaming and playing as fast as you can. i like all that too so i'm not critizing that. punk may also be a band like The Clash or Fugazi which is the changing of rock n' roll into something more alternative. blink 182 is pop punk. this genre is really looked down upon by all the crap thats out there today but there are pop punk bands like Green Day and Alkaline Trio that are also some of my favorites. blink-182 was a band inspired by The Cure and The Desendents. therefore, they aren't true "hardcore" punk, the music gives you the chills and reminds you of when you were a kid, which is what i love. selection for this album could of been better though, which is why i give it a four. STOP GIVING REVEIWS THAT SAY THEY ARENT PUNK..... WE ALL KNOW!!
