Album Description Tissues and Issues is the eagerly anticipated new album from Charlotte Church. Heralding a major musical change of direction for Charlotte, the album is a scintillating journey through a whole range of genres and moods. Album highlights include the first single 'Crazy Chick', the personal and anthemic 'Finding My Own Way', the intimate 'Confessional Song' and the intriguing and addictive 'Casualty of Love'. tissues and issues October 24, 2009 Dale A. Andrews pleased with the product very much shipped un timely manner and great shape music is great thank you
THANKS! April 29, 2009 Sara A. Barket (St. Augustine, FL USA) Thank you Australia! I wish the CD got released in the US. Fast shipping from AUS to FL, USA. Thanks!
If you like pop, here it is... February 26, 2009 R.A.W. Tilton (West Lafayette, IN) She definitely wants to exterminate her pretty image and beautiful voice for some popish sounds. Now some of the songs are pretty catchy and I was into the cd for about a month, but after I rarely even thought about or wanted to listen to it. I had to buy this from Amazon to import to the U.S...don't think it was worth the money b/c you can listen to her "hits" on youtube. Funny thing, when I first started getting into Charlotte Church she was asked "Would you ever consider any alternative genres of music, like Pop?"...her response "My voice is for more mature music and I'll let other singers create pop music" or something along those lines...

This new direction for you Charlotte is gonna end up in the trash can.
We don't want another Tabloid face carbon copy of Britney, Madonna,
or Lindsey. You were flying as high as an Angel and now you want to create
something that just doesn't cut it. Which gets the most respect and desire
from the people, costume jewlery or real diamonds. You got the gifts that God Almighty gave you please don't waste them on this cheap trash. A life long fan who wants to be a fan again. We have enough devils and depression
in this world please let the Angel come back. Bottom line you just lost a life long customer $$$$$$$$$$$$$------ win me back.
Good but not great September 20, 2008 Sarah Paige (Brawley, CA) I bought the album because I was interested in learning what types of music Charlotte Church might be doing after I saw the movie "I'll Be There" (great movie, if you haven't seen it, do so!). The first track "Call My Name" is a great, sexy, grown-up, pop, club song. And my favorite on the album. "Show a Little faith" is good; soft and slow and tugs at my heartstrings a bit. The rest of the album, while not bad, is somewhat mediocre, and in the instance of "Confessional Song" boring and filled with more than I care to know about Miss Church. Perhaps I had my hopes too high after seeing her (pop) performances "I'll Be There" and the video for "Call My Name," but I am a bit disappointed. However, I don't necessarily regret buying this album. Though the price is awful steep, even for an import (why was it never releases in the States, anyway?).
