From the supplier: A survey of Australian corporations in 1997 showed that executive protection is considered unimportant and security management had a more reactive than a preventive character. This finding may suggest that there is not much of a security threat to Australian executives. However, it may also indicate a simple lack of awareness of threats because violent incidents do not merit much media attention and there are no compiled lists of such incidents happening in corporations.
