Nobody even notices her, Ashilie's like an invisable singer.
Her big sister Jessica, is even more better than her. I've know skinny homless puppy dogs that are even more noticable than her. { Joking} I meamn I like her, but everybody else treats like she's dead.

It's interesting to read through these reviews, and it's either 5 stars or 1 star for Ashlee, no in between. Let's face it, people either love her or hate her. I'm 24 years old, and I'm heavily into 80's new wave and underground. But Ashlee struck a cord with me. I think her CD "Autobiography" is fantastic! All of the songs are great, however I like these 4 songs the best: Autobiography, Pieces Of Me, Shadow, and La La. I sing them out loud all the time. There's some great remixes of "La La" out there (Sharp Boys Remix and Fernando Garibay Remix) but I think the dance remixes of "Pieces Of Me" didn't do her justice, not enough vocals.
What I love about Ashlee personally is her individuality. She didn't give in to the pressures of the "Hollywood Standard" and have tons of plastic surgery before turning 18 like Lindsay Lohah did (Lindsay later had her huge breast implants taken out because it was hurting her movie deals...the implants were a "distraction"), and with Ashlee's 7th Heaven fan base she could've just been successful being a cookie cutter pop singer with pig tails and a Catholic school-girl uniform. She didn't get a nose job like every other actress and singer, she likes how she looks naturally. She's awkward in a beautiful way. And I think all this makes her glow! She is REAL!! From the message boards I've seen that men just rate her on if she's "do-able" or not. As if you have a chance! Ha!
But seriously, I think she's very down-to-earth, sweet, and has great music. So what if she lip-synched? It was to the tracks of her own voice! Madonna, Britney, and Janet ALL lip-sync at their concerts, so why is Ashlee the "bad" exception? I'll continue to buy her CDs, and stay current on Ashlee news. I love you Ashlee! "Autobiography" is 5 stars and then some! I look forward to your "I Am Me" CD coming out in October! And she's no kid, she's turning 21 in October as well. Long-live Princess Ashlee!

I don't even want to give this one star and I'm annoyed that it was reccommended for me. Yes, JESSICA is beautiful, talented, etc., but her exactly opposite sister is tring to climb onto her fame. She lipsynches, live- she gets booed and sounds terrible. She's awkward, she can't sing, and she just wants her sister's fame. And her former friend's ex-boyfriend apparently. Bad person, bad album, empty songs.
For new and GOOD - try Skye Sweetnam, Brie Larson, and Alexz Johnson (who is a real actress who sings - like lindsay lohan)
ashlee is just what she hates- untalented and unattractive like hilary duff
