Still needs the 5 star treatment! February 7, 2010 Richard C. Button (Nottingham, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A very welcome addition to the vast Alice Cooper collection, but you can't help feeling an album of this stature deserves a real proper reissue, along the lines of the Billion Dollar Babies deluxe edition.
The sound is fine, though not a big leap from the standard release it has to be said. I welcome any upgrade of this classic album from the original band. Booklet is pretty basic, but all original artwork is there.
All in all, a good buy, but for Alice collectors only, as i it's not significantly better than the standard release in my opinion.
Disappointing! February 5, 2010 bosco This is one of my all time favorite albums. There isn't a bad song on the whole thing.I've been waiting for years for a proper remaster. My gripe is with the sound. This is 24 bit map remaster? It doesn't sound any better than the original cd release that Warners put out in the 80's.Only more expensive. The volume is low and the clarity sounds the same as the original. This is the best they could do?Save your money.
To put it simply... January 9, 2010 C. Kaiser Jr. 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the best recording ever made and released with the name Alice Cooper on it...be it the man or the band!
To say otherwise would be to admit that you really don't "get it!"

Cant say that this is a big improvement over the original Warner's cd of "Love It To Death", Although it is now the best version available

I'm not going to tell you about the music, but about the remaster, which is very good...if you're thinking to buy this one looking to improve the sound, this is the one to buy.
