It's okay for what it is. Hewitt can carry a tune. Not the greatest singer to ever open her yapper, but far from the worst. The songs are mostly bland pop-filler, with lyrics that appear to have been 'researched' in a Hallmark greeting card aisle. Sadly, there is no nude centerfold of the singer, which might have raised the star rating to 3 or 4...if you're a 15 year old girl, the sentiments on this cd will probably resonate with you for days after listening to it.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is good in everything she does from writting to acting to singing and producing. I love this album all of the songs are great and FREE TO BE A WOMAN is the best. However I don't care much for the picture. Jennifer has it all. I hope that she will come out with more albums. Some people say that her songs are too sexy for the age she was when she did the album but look at all the singers these days even the ones that are younger then she was then, they all wear sexy things and sing about things that are above their age but nobody seems to think any thing about it anymore!!

i bought this cd because i LOVE jennifer love hewitt. and i really do like the cd. but i don't like some of the lyrics considering they are coming from a girl who was what... 15 at the time? and if it's not supposed to mean "that" then why is she wearing a metalic bra in the pictures on this thing? just way inappropriate for what age target this cd should have been aiming for. otherwise, most of the songs are great. it's just one of the cd's i have to get in a "mood" to listen to. so it's definitely not on repeat in my car.

I'm so glad I purchased this album by Jennifer Love Hewitt,because I almost knock myself out for not buying it!!!!Every track on her first debut is flawless & really very catchy especially the first track "Kiss Away From Heaven" & "Can't Stand In The Way Of Love".I find this album to be highly enjoyable,powerful,relaxing,soothing & very addicting,& I love it a lot!!!!!!! Perfect to play while driving & chillin out with your friends,relaxing after those long stressful days of hard work etc.What are you waiting for? Buy this cd now!!!!! You will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!
