 A great collection for those who want different versions of classic songs... June 20, 2009

I think this is a great collection of songs from the early eras of KISS. Some may complain that most, if not all, have been tampered with. The thing is, if you actually own all of these songs in the original formats, then this compilation is a great addition to any KISS fan's collection. It's neat to hear different takes on all of the classic songs, and the version of BETH with Eric Carr of vocals is, hands down, the better the version of the two. Eric Carr just has a better singing voice, no offense to Peter Criss. The new songs, (Let's Put The X In Sex, You Make Me Rock Hard) are great 80's rockers by themselves, and the only way to get these 2 songs is to buy this compilation.
All in all, this is a good little compilation for those who appreciate the phenomenon of KISS...I have all of their albums, so I may be a bit biased, but I think every die-hard KISS fan should give it a chance, (but then again, if you are a KISS die hard you probably already own this). If you are a new KISS fan, then I would probably stick with Double Platinum, so you can get more of the classic era, in their original form, for your money.

This cd is okay all the songs are good and all but there remixes...
first off let me say im a huge KISS fan i have like 15 of there cds anyways this one i do not own but i know that these are all just remixes and dont sound the same or as good rock n roll all night on here isnt even them its jsut remixed completly
cheap complimation go for KISS Gold 1974-1982 for the same price as this CD with the orignal versions of the songs and like way more great songs just get the two new songs of itunes please instead of buying the cd for 14 bucks or get KISS gold or the very best of instead of thisHUGE KISS FAN

good complilation album. I like the remixes even though I think the originals are better. The new songs are great as well. Great Melodic rock ! Eric Carr singing on Beth is really cool. His voice is a lot smoother than Peter's but still a noteable remake.

I have Double Platinum album which I think is FANTASTIC, and this album which add more later recording, some are poppy. Over all fun and great collection. But not complete. I wish they included more from Best of Kiss, and few other "BEST" albums......missing "Creature of the Night" "Forever" " Parasite" "I stole your love" ...and many more. I ended up buying and completed my collection with "KISS ALIVE (1975 - 2000) which contained all of my favorite songs, plus KISS is a live band, I like to hear them live anyway.
