Product Description We all know the saying, "better than sex." Some people say that chocolate is better than sex. Others say that bungee jumping is better than sex. Still others claim that drugs are better than sex. Supposedly, there are a lot of things out there that are better than sex. However, I never use this phrase because, to me, there is nothing better than good sex. And in my opinion, people who use this phrase probably have never had good sex. Isn't it time you did? That's what this book is about. It's about the stuff you need to know that no one bothered to tell you. It's about freeing yourself to get to that better sex and having that better sex. Exploring subjects such as exhibitionism, repression, and oral sex, Good Sex-A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition is a must-read for anyone seeking a more fulfilling, less inhibited sex life.

Don't waste your money! January 30, 2009 Book Lady 2 out of 13 found this review helpful
On second thought, I think 1 star is 1 too many, but once I clicked on it, I wasn't able to take it away. While the author fully admits that she is not a professional, I still had higher expectations in this book than the mess that it is. Each section repeats over and over what it is she's going to talk about without really saying anything at all. And, to top it off, the grammar is horrible and there are words misspelled - some are actually missing from the sentence altogether. I find it offensive, as an author, that this book was even published in the first place. Maybe a scarce typo is forgiveable if the content was worth anything, but, as it turns out, it is just rambling that doesn't offer any solid advice at all. I actually read through the whole thing, thinking it had to get better. It didn't. Don't waste your money.
Okay if you're really inhibited January 28, 2009 Jane Carrington (Los Angeles, CA USA) 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
This book might be a worthwhile read if you're paralyzed by sexual inhibition with no friends or family or therapist to talk to, but frankly it's just some woman with no professional credentials waxing on about her particular sex life. I found it to be lacking in any less than obvious insights, a complete waste of money really.
Inhibited writing. Laughable, almost. June 10, 2008 Pamela T (Kansas City, MO) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was hoping for something slightly more substantial than a "Good Housekeeping" article. This book didn't deliver. I did not find one piece of enlightening information. The examples were reserved, cursory, and read like stereotypical cliches. Some of the "just do it" pieces of advice were laughable (if not insulting to any intelligent reader). I felt like this inhibited writing was more of a personal catharsis of a tittering "neighbor lady" than a real delving into inhibitions and working through them. I have never written a critical book review before. But I bought this book based on the recommendation given here. And I felt like I completely wasted my money and my valuable time. So much so, that I felt a responsibility to share these thoughts in hopes of preventing others from the same disappointment.
