Product Description Meet Ann, an independent little girl who knows what she likes. Ann cannot be persuaded to choose a blue dress, a brown hat or tan sandals. Ann likes red instead. Red! Red! Red! Composed of sixteen simple words, this book is a perfect choice for early readers.

Brought back great childhood memories! January 11, 2009 A. P. Gilbert (New Jersey) This was my favorite simple reader as a child. I read it until it fell apart. I bought it for myself as a Christmas present and it made me feel just as good many years later. Red is STILL my favorite color.
My First Book December 12, 2008 Lady G (New York, NY) I have been looking for this book for years! It was my first book (The Lonely Doll was my second). I am so glad it is available once again!
family mantra April 28, 2008 Page Coulter (Sandwich, New Hampshire) I read Ann Likes Red so many times to my daughters, that it became a family mantra. Mashed potatoes Susan? No, Ann likes red! she would reply. Stringed beans, Emilie? No! Ann likes red. Imagine my surprise to find that the book is still available through Amazon, and that others loved it as much as we did.
Wonderful Book March 7, 2008 J. Austin (Charlotte, NC) This was my youngest daughter first book and we read it over and over. Now I am getting it for my granddaughter. Can't wait to read it to her over and over.
Ann likes Red--republished July 7, 2006 M. K. Quilliam (Manhattan Beach, CA United States) this is a republished version of the original story from 1965. It looks JUST LIKE the old one and 5 year old daughter LOVES it as much as me and my sister! Thanks for bringing back such an oldie but goodie!
