    Product Description
Polly Usher's story is one that began in 1937 as a licensed instructor operating an airport followed by serving our nation in the 1940’s by training some of our World War II flight cadets. Following the war, Polly continued her passion for flight by flying film crews to view set locations throughout the west. An early Aviatrix, who quietly, unrecognized achieved much at a time when women did not. Polly’s memoirs are filled with her personal remembrances of the early days of flight and her love for aviation.

At first, I just looked at the old photos because I'm interested in pre WWII aircraft. And then I started to read the story and could NOT put the book down. It's history as never been told by a pre-WWII woman pilot but still remains a love story that rivals that of Napoleon and Josephine. I'm slack-jawed. I'd recommend this book to anyone from age 10 to 100.
