    Billy Adams's bio on the brightest young actor in British film today blends friend's antedotes and facts in an enjoyable account. Ewan McGregor exploded onto the Hollywood scene with his stellar performance as "Renton" in the 1996 film "Trainspotting." However, before Renton, there was the child, youth and talented student actor whom few are familiar. While the book includes some information already published, Adams's new material serves to round out what is an intriguing personality, not just a public personea. The 272 pages include enjoyable quotes by McGregor about his films and future in the international motion picture industry, 23-b/w photographs, end notes, index and filmography. This book is a wonderful addition for fans of this versatile and georgeous actor.
