    Product Description
Influenced by the legendary British blues-rock bands of the sixties such as Cream and Led Zeppelin, the true story of Judas Priest reveals how a group of poor, working-class lads followed in their heroes footsteps.

    1 out of 5 stars Unbeliavable...   December 1, 2008
    Woosh!

Some "writers" and "editors" out there really lack a single grain of shame.

This books is copy and paste all around, and copying and pasting from a lot of incorrect informations / sources. I consider it an offense to Judas Priest, not a biography about this great band.

    Unbeliavable.

1 out of 5 stars Another crap book   March 14, 2008

    This book is TERRIBLE!

Inaccuracies abound, poor editing and writing everywhere. Do not waste your money on this trash. Or the recent book on Judas Priest by Martin Popoff. It's another inaccurate, biased account with terrible writing and editing.

Didn't anyone assist these authors on their projects? Didn't they employ fact checking into their research? Not at all. This book, and the other one, gloss over major events in the band's history, and dwell on same-ol-stuff we all know already. It's as if they took a look at the Judas Priest info pages online...another poorly edited, but well-intentioned Judas Priest web page....and quoted/lifted info without checking the veracity of the info.

There is still not one well done Judas Priest biography, either in print or online. Maybe it's time for me to do one...

Avoid this book at all costs! And the other one, too. You'll not learn one new thing about Priest, but you'll learn that these authors did not do their homework. What a waste of time and money! Beware!

1 out of 5 stars Not happy   February 2, 2008

I actually did sit down and read this piece or rubbish. I wasted my time like the band's statement had warned I would. Judas Priest INFO pages are more accurate than this bit of dribble, and even that is not all fact as well.

If you want a fair, although sometimes long winded, assesement of the band get Martin Popoff's illustrated history and dont waste your time with this mess.

2 out of 5 stars Where is Scott Travis?   September 26, 2007

Where are the pics of the CURRENT DRUMMER OF JUDAS PRIEST?
Sorry to see there aren't any! How can the author of this book call it The Story of Judas Priest when there is not one clear photo of the drummer who has been with them since 1990 and who remains to this day the drummer?
    Very disappointing.
