Lightweight, Inaccurate Information December 30, 2008 lovebug11768 (New York, New York) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This encyclopedia has a lot of problems. For starters, the author's fact checking is horrendous which causes him to state a lot of inaccurate information. For example, he credits the song "Patience" as being co-written by West Arkeen when in fact it was written by guitarist Izzy Stradlin. He also claims that after the St. Louis riots, the band's next performance was in Helsinki, Finland. In fact, the band played their next gig in Dallas, TX. They continued to tour around the western US and didn't play Finland till over a month later. In addition to being inaccurate, the book has only 3 or 4 entries per letter in the alphabet, which makes for a very lightweight encyclopedia.
