Product Description Country music newcomer Gretchen Wilson burst onto the Nashville scene in 2004 with a top-selling debut album. She has quickly made a name for herself in the industry after only a year, thanks to that breakout first album, Here for the Party, which ranked fifth in 2004 album sales for all formats. Sales have already topped 2.9 million units worldwide, and that number continues to climb. In addition to her album, Wilson was also a Grammy winner in 2004 and a Country Music Association Horizon Award winner. The single mom has taken her career to unforeseen heights and is one of the most exciting country music artists of the new millennium. The new book Gretchen Wilson celebrates her life and the incredible country music accomplishments she has already managed.

A vibrant visual testimony to the life's work of a singularly talented vocalist January 4, 2006 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Gretchen Wilson is an amazing photographic tribute to Grammy and ACM Top Female Vocalist award winner Gretchen Wilson. A devoted mother as well as a wildly popular country music singer, Gretchen Wilson reveals both public and private moments of her life in the vivid full-color photography, enhanced with brief paragraphs of text about her life and memorable quotes by Gretchen and those closest to her. A vibrant visual testimony to the life's work of a singularly talented vocalist.
Skip it! September 21, 2005 Terry Porter (Minnesota) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
You could go online and get the same pictures and read the same snippets of info. about GW. The publisher should be ashamed to charge $19.95 for this book.
A short read with lots of pictures August 29, 2005 LuvMyDog (SW Illinois) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
If it's mainly pictures you're looking for, then it's okay. But if you want an in-depth book about Gretchen, pass this one up. Much of the text is straight from the Internet sites. It's a pretty good photo album type book as far as organizing the info. Young fans would probably like it. Makes a fair coffee table book. Glad I didn't pay the suggested price of $19.95 - not enough book for that price in my opinion.
Must-have for GW fans! August 26, 2005 M. Dressen (Charlotte) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is a must have for GW fans! The overall appearance of the book makes it appropriate for your coffee table. Ms. Moyer has thoroughly completed her research and has done a terrific job relaying it to the reader. I will buy copies for Christmas gifts.
A good way to get to know Gretchen August 25, 2005 txbelle (Dallas, TX) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I really didn't know much about Gretchen Wilson when I came across this book. It is a great way to learn about her life and her music. As someone who enjoys her songs, I really liked following her story. It is a respectful tribute to one of country music's brightest new star.
