Doesn't get any better than this! February 28, 2010 M. Spallas (Los Angeles, California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a professional hairstylist, and I own many many books on hairstyling. Out of all of the books I own, I have to say that this book is BY FAR the very best book on the subject. It's a great book for stylists wanting to become freelance stylists and work in film or print; It's great for salon stylists who need a little more education on styling hair (maybe for Brides, etc.); and it's also fantastic for the average person just trying to learn ways to style their own hair. Robert makes it look so easy (even though I know it's not always as easy as it looks!). However, compared to most of the books out there, all of these styles are do-able. The best part of it for me, is that Robert Vetica comes across not only as a fantastic, talented artist, but a kind, humble man as well. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in this book to get it! You won't find anything better!!!

This book is given the knowledge of hair care & styling, also how to use the tools & hair products to achieve the result of styling, which is good to know all about it, especially when you are new to hair styling, it helps you to understanding what kind of tools & hair product to use & how to use it, it also show you how to achieve a few styling result with just the same hair cut.
Good book April 21, 2009 Mish (Seattle, WA) Must buy if you are interested in learning how to do basic up do's and hair care.
Fabulous! April 14, 2009 Leighan M. Blaede (Atlanta, GA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I love the way this book broke down the instructions in very easy to understand language. I subscribe to all of the major fashion magazines and can never recreate the looks like I was able to do with this book. I'm especially excited that I was finally able to determine my hair texture. I also liked the fact that there aren't any promos for the latest products - just tried and true basics.
Good to Great Hair March 18, 2009 Ms G (Columbus, Indiana, USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Book is okay. Disappointed that there weren't any African American models at all. Nor was there a section on ethnic hair. I own a salon and will use is as a coffee table book.
