Dream Makers - The Children SpeakOctober 26, 2003 My daughter was on of the children whose essay was chosen for inclusion in tnis book. The essay contest was a great way to have 5th and 6th greaders think about their lives in the future. Mr. Waldman is an illustrator whose drawings keep children interested during story time but the essays are what keep the parents reading. Our children have seen things in thier young lives that many of us as adults never had to see or hear about. It's a beautiful book and it contains heartfelt thoughts. Funds from this book assist kids. Buy it for your little ones - - buy it for yourself.
