Enya Polaris is a teenage fairy, and she's come to realize that she's currently experiencing the hardest years, if not months, of her life. After she is released from her three-month probation for being captured by humans, she is again enslaved by Aiden Reiche, who she has come to know as her dear friend. The use of this slavery makes their relationship suffer, but Enya is bound to Aiden until they find his mother. Not only is Enya bound to Aiden, but an evil pixie is trying to kidnap them both. The teens find out just how connected their lives are once the prophecies are revealed. With the entrance of a strange man in Enya's dreams and a war unfolding right in front of them, Enya becomes overwhelmed with all of her responsibilities and tasks at hand. Will this be the end of Enya? Or will her faith keep her above water in order for her to defeat their enemies once more?
Enya's Shadow is a solid sequel in the Enya Series. It is filled with strong moral standards and family values. The use of new characters and relationships really brings the story to life, making it a fairy tale readers of any age can enjoy. Kristalyn Vetovich is a strong young writer who has created a world second to none with the use of magic, creatures, and sparkling personalities.
