This well written book is ideal for the younger Beatle fan, the pre-tween to tween reader. This author compliments his young readers' intelligence and takes them on a Magical Mystery Tour throught the Long & Winding Roads of each Beatle's life. Readers not only spend A Day in the Life of each Beatle, but learn what influenced the Beatles and their art. Readers will take a madcap rush through 1964 when the Beatles came to America; celebrate at the famous August 15, 1965 Shea Stadium Concert and scream over Beatle television performances and feel some bittersweet pangs when the group disbanded in 1970.
Beatlemania is well explained (and is certainly understandable!) thanks to the skilled writing of this author. This book gets a hearty YEAH, YEAH, YEAH endorsement! I love it!
