Product Description
THE STREET LIFE OR THE STRAIGHT LIFE? D.J.'s got an Ivy League diploma, the sexiest girl in the city, and the five best friends a dude could want. What he doesn't have is cash. When his boy, Dre, steals some ice from a thug after a fight, D.J. comes up with a get-rich-quick scheme worth thousands of dollars. But in this high-stakes game, you don't lie, cheat, and steal without paying the price, and after staring down the barrel of a handgun, D.J. learns a life lesson that college didn't teach him. Now which will he choose -- the straight and narrow or the streets?

| Customer Reviews: good read September 18, 2009 Shari L. Walter (Grand Blanc , MI) i just finished this book. it was a good book . it started out slow but a good urban street book. the consequences come to life especially at the end.it was interesting about how the jewelry was stolen than sold.
The Diamond District June 2, 2009 D. Williams (Syracuse, New York United States) This book was a good read. DJ a college grad, turn to the street for fast money.... Leave that fast money alone and work for what you want in life. Great read.
Avid reader October 9, 2008 T. Kelly (DMV) I would most definitely recommend this book to someone else, in fact I already have. I feel that the author did a grat job of brining the character to life. A character that many people can relate to. This book appeals to those who love to read as well as those who have never picked up a book before. It tells the tale of a struggle that many young people are faced with today. I enjoyed reading it. I felt like I was a part of their lives and I knew each individual personally. I embraced them as a part of my circle so I was not surprised when I cried and laughed the same times they did.
AWESOME!!!! May 7, 2008 Donnell Hicks The first time I read this book I couldn't put it down. I read it almost everyday from chapter one to chapter twenty-six non stop it was that great yes indeed it was filled with humor.
