Excellent graphics to understand visually February 28, 2010 R. Pett (arizona) This book is very concise and has excellent pictures and tables to depict the most pertinent information about Immunology. The graphics and tables are all colorful and easy to understand. That said, the book is not as detailed as some other books out there, but for my course I took in pharmacy school, it was good enough. Where it lacked in detail I picked up in the lecture. This book is excellent for understanding immunology, especially if it's your first time ever taking immunology.
Amazing figures! Absolutely reader friendly. August 29, 2009 Joseph Osorio (CA) This book is flat out the best if you want to understand immunology!
The figures are key! And the text presentation style makes it very palpable even for someone with a non-bio background.
GREAT BOOK August 4, 2009 P. Olszewska (MN) I am a first year med student and this book was GREAT at explaining things and is very thorough. Easy to read and has great diagrams (for those that visual like me!)
A great immunology textbook. February 28, 2009 Raheel 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It provides what it claims; a simple, easy to understand, upto date, immunology text with great, full color pictures and nice tables. I have used this book for three consecutive years now to teach an immunology course to medical students and neither they, nor I have been let down by it.
great diagrams and images November 23, 2008 R. Mak (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The diagrams and images were helpful in integrating the information. The text was well-organized and descriptions comprehensive.
