    Product Description
William Hawes is a successful writer, handsome and famous, loved by all, and plagued with special demons. When he graduated high school, his girlfriend, to whom he'd intended to propose, had fled after murdering her family and desecrating the bodies in a most awful manner. It had scarred him irreparably and for years he wondered what had caused her to commit such a heinous and unspeakable act. It inspired him to the life he chose to lead, luring unsuspecting victims into his home and writing books of poignant horror and suspense. He was rich, outwardly charming, and everyone wanted him. But his whole life was driven by the hunt for his ex, Catalina Smith, who had run away on that dark, red night, never to be seen again. Little did he know that she was searching for him as well....

5 out of 5 stars Great psychological thrill ride   August 13, 2007
This book was amazing. It was not afraid to take you right down in the deepest levels of the writer's psyche. The twist at the end is downright naughty! I loved it and I am recomending this book to all my friends.
