3 out of 5 stars Good Book for Beginners   March 23, 2006

This is a good book if you've never been to rehab or a 12-step meeting. This advice is very practical and pragmatic, however it is incredibly redundant to people who have had experience quitting drinking or numerous tries at quitting.

Colclough writes with warmth, humor and compassion. Having said that, the author comes across more as a cheerleader than an expert in addiction treatment.
