nasty condition February 12, 2010 George A. Roberts 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book was labeld as VERY GOOD CONDITION. In fact, it might fit in the "poor" category if I squinted. very disappointing.
Good book for beginners December 18, 2009 B. Shah This is a nice book for piano novices. Though I can't help but feel that a few more chords would be OK and give a better sound to the songs.
Good song book; Not so easy February 12, 2009 Kim McCann (Illinois) Alot of good songs here, but I'd ordered this because it was listed as easy. Not so much a beginner's or easy book. But still a good buy.
Songs in Beatle Keys September 12, 2005 BeatleBangs1964 (United States) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is an excellent book for beginners. The songs are a lot of fun to play and you can always "experiment" to get the rhythm closer to what the Beatles played.
Since this is a book for beginners, it is good to keep in mind that there is always room for trial, error and experimentation. After all, the Beatles were virtuosos of experimental music, the experimental phase which began in late 1965 with "Rubber Soul" to their final recording together.
This is one I'd highly recommend for people who want to play Beatle music and have some fun with it, which one would expect you would.
Great for A Beginning Pianist June 23, 2003 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this book and love it. At first, it was a bit difficult, but I found the more I practiced, the better I sounded. It sounds very much like the arrangements on the Beatles CD. I wish there were more books like this. This book is so popular that my local music store has a hard time keeping it in stock.
