It's fulla pictures of Jimi February 1, 2007

I was torn whether to give it a 4 or 5 star for one reason only. It's got 80 pages. Naturally, it'd be great if it was more extensive. And I've seen about 1/3 of the pictures before, not the end of the world cuz there's a buncha others that are great and new to me and I'm a long time Jimi freak w/ about 12 books on him. There's over 80 photos in the book. What I really like is the size of the book, nice and big and they use the full page for a number of the pictures. It's funny to see lp covers in here but that's cool. There's no question that if you can pay $5 or less (plus shipping) it's totally worth it and that's what it's going for around this time at least. There's also 4 pages of listings of singles, eps and lps with authoritative notes. They appear to be all various official releases. There's some text, about 1/4 of the book along with a paragraph of info about every photo. The Rex Photos book is more extensive and I generally prefer it but this one is larger big page size wise and is a quality Jimi book. I'm glad I got both. This is a well put together book, lovingly assembled, this is not a cheap slam together item. [...]
