Product Description A convicted man out to prove his innocence... An innocent woman held captive by desire... Julie Mathison overcame her rough Chicago childhood to become a pillar in a rural Texas community. A third-grade teacher, she is a lovely, vivacious young woman determined to give back all of the love and kindness she has received. Zachary Benedict, an Academy Award-winning actor/director, was at the pinnacle of his career when he was convicted of murdering his wife. The tall, ruggedly handsome convict endures his prison time, waiting for the day when he can escape and find the real killer. When that day comes and his carefully planned break-out goes awry, Zack abducts an unsuspecting Julie and forces her to drive him to his Colorado hideout. There, as she comes to believe in Zack's innocence, Julie's fear slowly gives way to trust and desire, kindling a smoldering, sensual passion between them. But before their new found love can take hold, Zack and Julie must pass a bitter test that will force them to endure the pain of betrayal and separation that could drive them apart forever.

Absolutely Perfect! June 25, 2009 Sara Hedges (Wilmington, MA) I absolutely LOVED this book! I read Paradise first then started right in on this one. It was beautifully written, the perfect romance novel in my opinion. It had romance, sensuality, suspense, humor, and it made me laugh and cry multiple times. Definitely one that I'll keep in my library and reread again.
MY HEART!!! May 21, 2009 Love (edmond, OK USA)
What can I say?!... live 'Paradise' then light candles and curl up with 'Perfect' ...you will not be able to put them down! .... I stayed up nights....rushed home from a funeral....refused to talk to my best friend.....waited for my husband's snore -to leave- to read....... Thank you Judith!.....thanks for preserving 'romance'....
My favorite April 16, 2009 Khanh V. Nguyen (California) I've read lots off book but I've only 2-3 reviews and this one is my fourth,I have to write one for this one because I want to raise the rating for this book so alot of people would buy it and see for themselves how good this book is! Julie was adopted by a loving family when she was 11. She grew up and became a school teacher. One day she was out of town and got kidnapped by Zack, a former movie started who escaped prison after he served 5 years for a murder crime he didn't commit. After Julie's initial struggles to escape from Zach's abduction, she slowly realized that Zach wasn't what people thought he was so she decided to help him. They stay in one of Zach's friend's cottage to avoid the police and they developed feeling for each other... This book is very emotional. It has a very beautiful love story along with witty dialogue. I laugh out loud when the H/h were engaged in lightheart converstions and cried in all the emotional scenes. If you love Judith Mcnaught, this is a must read, if you haven't read any of Mcnaught's book, start with this one
Loved it March 30, 2009 Rabia (Canada) This story had a bit of everything from suspense and drama, to fantasy and romance romance and more romance! Zach is a movie star and your not really sure if he a nice guy or not, who accidentally kidnaps innocent bystander Julie. It's kind of like a soap-opera / fantasy where he hides her away in a desserted mountain where they eventually fall in love - but there's so much more to the story, you gotto read it. It was a real page-turner for me.
It's "Prison Break" meets... February 9, 2009 babs (Dacula, GA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's "Prison Break" meets "Pretty Women" (minus one fabulous hooker) meets "Cinderella"...THE BEST book I've read since "When He Was Wicked" (by Julia Quinn). And I just loved how McNaught wove a piece of "Paradise" in with it. It was nice to catch up with Matt and Meredith (and their little girl)! So ladies this is a MUST read...I've never steered you wrong before, and I'm not gonna start now!
