1 out of 5 stars Who picked these songs?   June 24, 2009
    A. Seigler (Kernersville, North Carolina United States)
Hallowed Be Thy Name? Poweslave? Rime of the Ancient Mariner? Stranger in a Strange Land? Fear of the Dark? Why would any of these songs be left off of an anthology series in favor of Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter or Can I Play With Madness? I guess they already had the copyrights paid for for these songs and didn't want to pay for any more. I know Iron Maiden has a very extensive catalog and you can't please everyone, but I don't know of too many Maiden fans that were pleased with this song collection.

This is a very good tab book, it had a pretty good selection of songs, they left out some really good songs, but anyway the book is excellent, I recommend it.

Finally a GOOD Tab Book for Iron Maiden which many of us were waiting for. The song list is really good and the tabs are very accurate. I just with another Anthology will be released featuring songs that were left out such as "Hallowed be thy Name", "Fear of the Dark", "Man on the Edge", etc., etc...GREAT BOOK anyway!

This collection had a pretty good selection of songs, but they left out some rather obvious classics. For example, they included "Revelations," but did not include "Hallowed Be Thy Name," which is widely regarded as their best song ever. I also would have liked a song from each of the most recent albums, such as "The Wicker Man" and "Paschendale." It was very nice to see "No Prayer for the Dying," an overlooked favorite of mine. Overall, it is an excellent overview. I hope it sells well enough to justify reissuing some of their classic album sets.
