    What a joy it is to immerse oneself once again in a Susie Kelly book! When reading her books I feel she is sitting at my kitchen table recounting her exploits over a cup of tea - I can almost hear her voice! A Perfect Circle is a gentle jaunt around the outer rim of a country I love - France. Her love of the country and the French comes over loud and clear though never through rose-tinted glasses! The journey never flags and many of the places she talks about I have visited and yet I see them in a different light through her eyes. She writes with ease and her balance of historical and geographical information and anecdotes is absolutely perfect, with occasional glimpses of life chez Susie and Terry! A 'must read' for every francophile and for everyone who enjoys armchair traveling and gentle people-watching at it's very best. Can't wait for the next book - where to now Susie?
