Another great read from Jen M! June 30, 2009 Heidi Dexter (Sunny Florida) After reading Belly Laughs, I had to buy this one. It's like what happens once the baby comes home. A lot of pooping, apparently! But it's also about adjusting and doing things for the baby and staying up at all hours of the night--basically the trails and tribulations of a new parent. I liked the book, thought it was funny and would defintely recommend it, along with her other book, Belly Laughs: The Naked Truth about Pregnancy and Childbirth.
Must-have book for any mom or mom-to-be! June 28, 2009 Erin Clark (Boise, ID USA) I read Jenny's first book, Belly Laughs and LOVED it. This one is even more hilarious! I have given both books to friends as gifts when they found out they were expecting. I haven't talked to one person who didn't love this book as well as all of Jenny's others. She's honest and humorous at the same time!
It's Funny! May 14, 2009 E. Gadbois (NE Wisconsin) This book is just funny. It's a light-hearted look at being a new mother. It can be crude, crass, gross, etc, but it's still funny. I suppose it depends on your sense of humor whether or not you'll enjoy this book.
So funny! Far from the traditional pregnancy books. April 14, 2009 L. Brown (Sacramento, CA USA) I laughed and laughed some more. Jenny McCarthy is so blunt, a little too blunt for some but it worked for me. This is not a "What to expect when your expecting" type of book. She is sharing her experience from pregnancy. I liked how it was an easy read. The chapters are very short. If you like Jenny they you will like this book.
You are not alone! March 23, 2009 S. Byron (United States) I really enjoyed this book. Jenny's style of writing is like talking to a girlfriend who has a tell it like it is personality. It has a spirit of sisterhood and a lightheartedness about it. It is obvious that she truly adores her son. A must read for all first time moms. I almost didn't read this book based on the negative reviews. Boy and I glad I didn't listen!! I really think anyone with even a slight sense of humor will love this book.
