I really enjoyed this book! As a First Grade teacher it is so nice to see multicultural stories written for children. This story journeys from New York to Japan and as far as Africa. It introduces the reader to ways to say hello in three languages. The sounds on the book were created by Stevie Wonder in his studio and fit the text very nicely. I plan on using this book in my class as a way to open a discussion on blindness and an introduction to Braille!
