Excellent Book January 23, 2009 R. Johnson (Richmond, Virginia) How much can you expect from an accounting text book? Well, you can hope that it explains things clearly and gives plenty of practice examples. This one does a great job of both. It's is a little difficult to follow at times when going over debits and credits, but the material is pretty obtuse and in the end, I think the book does as good a job as it can--you really need to have someone to answer questions. Also, this book is part of a complete offering from the publisher, which includes Power Points and a test bank; so, it is designed to be used with these other materials, which do round out the explanations.

Financial Accounting Ok March 1, 2007 Kate Coburn (New Haven, VT) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book does an ok job of giving exmaples. However, I found that I did have to refer to websites for additional examples and explanations. The additional websites found on my own were a huge help.
