Teaching toolMarch 22, 2006 P. Garvin I remember my high school creative writing teacher saying that she used this book as the basis for her poetry unit. She was a fabulous writing teacher and the poetry unit was outstanding. Now, as an English teacher, I am considering buying this book to supplement my teaching.

This is one of the better books I stole from my high school. It has a lot of new stuff (Jim Morrison) and classics (Bobby Frost). And it's always cool that the book was compiled 11 years before I was born.
