In this book, the girls decide to form their own girl band, inspired by the Spice Girls. When they hear about a talent competition they enter it as the Spice Girls - but there are a few problems. One, is their enemies the M & M's are also entering as the Spices, and two, is that none of the girls can sing! So they decide to add instruments to their act. They have a sleepover at Lyndz's place and practise, but things start going wrong when they creep up to the attic to practise.

It's a hilarious book, that will keep you laughing and interested for the whole story. It is fast moving, and the girls provide no end of laughs. The slang is kind of hard to understand if you're not British (the series is set in the UK), but the tales of 5 young girls is a riveting read. Get this now.
